Lord’s Gym is a wholesome, Christian-based company where the whole family can experience fitness for the body and soul. Founded in Roseville, California by Pastor Doug Bird with Abundant Life Fellowship in 1994, Lord’s Gym is quickly becoming the international standard for a wholesome environment to get fit.
Our fitness centers are set in an atmosphere of Christian fellowship. Each Lord’s Gym combines spiritual, mental and physical growth in one setting by fostering a family environment where quality people can enjoy fitness activities without compromising their Christian beliefs. Each Center features cardio training, free weights, weight machines, circuit training, weight loss programs, a group fitness room, Yo-God, spin classes, children’s facilities, café and smoothie bar, vitamins/ supplements, a sports wear pro shop and spa services.
Although the company logo depicts Jesus and the Cross, Lord’s Gym welcomes all people to enjoy its facilities and does not require doctrinal or religious views to be shared as criteria for membership.
Having affiliations with Lord’s Gym Youth Outreach Centers nation wide, James and Betty Robison with LIFE Outreach International as well as several other non-profit organizations, Lord’s Gym contributes 10% of its income to these organizations as a way of returning thanks to God and the community for the business.
